Family Forum, Inc. is looking for dedicated community members to serve on our Governing Board. Make a positive impact today!

Why join? Family Forum, Inc. is a grantee of the Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Our purpose is to help break the poverty cycle in our communities by empowering families, prenatal persons and small children. We are so much more than a preschool program!

What would my commitment look like? Joining the Governing Board is a 2-year commitment that meets monthly for approximately 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on content and approvals needed. Generally, we will meet virtually, but we do try to do an occasional in-person meeting. The start time is 8:30am, with an approximant end time of 11:00am.

How do I join? There is an application process for participation in Family Forum, Inc.’s Governing Board. Once you complete the application, it will submitted to the current Governing Board for the final decision.

Meetings are held the 4th Monday of each month (except July). 

The Board has a legal and fiscal responsibility to administer and oversee Family Forum's Early Head Start and Head Start programs. Family Forum represents Price, Iron, Ashland, Bayfield, and Douglas Counties.
